Multi-crew cooperation (MCC course) is a multi-crew cooperation training. It is a requirement that a pilot must meet before completing a type rating for multi-crew aircraft. It is also required for the issuance of an Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or a Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL). The training allows pilots to acquire the skills necessary to become more effective managers and crew members. The training is both theoretical and practical. The practical training takes place on a professional simulator.
In the European Union, MCC courses are regulated under Part FCL 735.
The MCC course includes the following subjects:
Communication, leadership and team skills
Workload management
Problem solving and decision making
Situational awareness
Monitoring and cross-checking
Sharing tasks
Using checklists
Briefings
Flight management
Normal system operation
Abnormal and emergency system operations
Environment, weather and ATC
Registration for an MCC course requires the following entry criteria:

What does the MCC course include?
The MCC course consists of 2 phases:
Theoretical instruction in the amount of 25 hours
20 hours of simulator training on a certified B738 M FNPTII MCC simulator
